Update:

Jalen Ramsey shared an update on his status on social media.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Jalen Ramsey suffered a knee injury that will require surgery. The expectation is he will the start of the regular season, but it’s not believed to be season ending injury and his ACL is intact.

Original story:

In a worrisome incident during today’s Training Camp practice, Miami Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey suffered an injury and had to be carted back to the locker room for further evaluation.

According to reports from NFL Media’s Cameron Wolfe, the injury appears to be related to Ramsey’s left knee.

The incident occurred while he was defending against Tyreek Hill on a pass play. Immediately after the play, Ramsey was seen clutching his left knee in apparent discomfort.

Trainers rushed to his aid and assessed him on the sideline before ultimately deciding to transport him off the field on a cart.

The timing of Ramsey’s injury is unfortunate, as it took place near the end of the practice session.

It’s been a tough day with injuries as notable players such as Jets Garrett Wilson and Bengals Joe Burrow also left to the locker rooms mid-practice.

Jalen Ramsey, who arrived at the Dolphins this offseason via a trade with the Los Angeles Rams, has been a key addition to the team’s defense. The trade involved the Dolphins sending a 3rd round pick and tight end Hunter Long to the Rams in exchange for the star cornerback.

As of now, the extent of Ramsey’s injury and the potential impact on his availability for future practices or games remain unknown.

Dolphins fans and the organization alike are anxiously awaiting updates on his condition from the team’s medical staff.
