What we learned today: No amount of money or success or fame will make someone immune from getting his feelings hurt by Twitter eggs. Kevin Durant demonstrated this in September of last year and 76ers exec Bryan Colangelo reinforced this today. The franchise’s President of basketball operations looks to have gotten bagged making burner accounts to defend things as petty as his choices in dress shirts to more problematic initiatives like disparaging his predecessor Sam Hinkie and shitting on the team’s star player.
In the wake of the scandal, the 76ers organization have begun an independent investigation Colangelo’s online activity, releasing a statement claiming they will “report the results of that investigation as soon as it is concluded.”
As we wait with bated breath for the climax of this saga, please relish in some of the best Twitter reactions to the allegations against Colangelo.

Bryan Colangelo’s birthday is on Friday. The best way for all of this to be confirmed would be if all of his accounts had Twitter’s birthday balloon treatment then.

Hey Bry, keep your head up. Albeit what you did was pathetic, at least you had the wherewithal to switch from your personal account before posting. Skip Bayless and Kevin Durant cannot say the same.
At least Bryan Colangelo switched to a burner account before tweeting about himself…Skip Bayless and Kevin Durant couldn’t even get that part right pic.twitter.com/q714EZoVKj
