Free-agent running back Leonard Fournette is making a pit stop in Buffalo.

NFL Insider Jordan Schultz reports that Fournette will be paying the Bills a visit on Tuesday. Schultz adds there is a fair bit of interest swirling around Fournette, and if things align, it’s very likely that Buffalo might become his new home.

The Bills could certainly use a hand for their backfield depth. Running back Damien Harris took a hit during the Giants game on Sunday Night Football, suffering a neck injury that sent him off to the hospital in an ambulance, and that’s never a good sign.

Fournette’s been around the block in the NFL. He kicked off his career as the 4th overall pick for the Jaguars in the 2017 Draft, but things didn’t end well there and they cut him loose ahead of the 2020 season.

Fournette then found home in Tampa Bay, playing alongside the legendary Tom Brady for three seasons.

Fournette’s got some impressive career numbers. He rushed for 4,478 yards and scored 34 touchdowns, but he’s not just about the ground game. He’s got a decent pair of hands too, catching 312 passes for 2,219 yards and adding 7 touchdowns.
