Although Sean Payton is busy turning around the Denver Broncos franchise, he apparently makes sure to let his team know about his deal with Jordan Brand.

He’s been rocking Jordan’s for years now and signed a contract with Jordan Brand back in 2020. Now, he makes sure to show off his kicks to his players all the time.

According to The Denver Post, the Broncos head coach “occasionally sports Jordan Brand shoes his players have never seen before. And he isn’t shy about letting them know about it.”

Superstar cornerback Patrick Surtain claims, “(Payton) brags about it a little bit, (saying) ‘You haven’t seen these in stores yet.’ Every day he’s showing off new shoes,” per The Denver Post.

As previously mentioned, Sean Payton inked a deal with the Jordan Brand back in 2020 when Michael Jordan himself noticed the veteran head coach was rocking Jordans on the sideline while coaching the New Orleans Saints.

As the Denver Post reports, Jordan invited Payton to his private golf course in Jupiter, Florida. Sean Payton recalls the conversation he had with Michael Jordan.

“He said, ‘I noticed you are always wearing Jordan 11s, and I’m going to make you the first Jordan Brand coach,'” [So] I said, ‘That sounds good.'”

It’s actually awesome that a head coach has a shoe deal with the Jordan Brand. Especially considering Payton is the only one. Additionally, he clearly impresses the players on the Broncos.

Patrick Surtain continued to talk about Sean Payton’s impressive Jordan Brand collection, per The Denver Post.

“You don’t see too many head coaches signing sneaker deals. He was telling me the scoop about Jordan and how they treat him. He was like once you join Jordan, it’s a brotherhood from here on. But I’m with Nike right now, so we will see how things go.”

Shoutout Sean Payton. If I had a shoe deal I’d be bragging about it all the time too.
