In the wake of mounting tension calling for the removal of the confederate flag from South Carolina’s statehouse, Watson announced his plans to replace the confederate flag on the General Lee’s roof with an American one. Great move.
All men ARE created equal, I believe that so I will be painting the American flag over the roof of the General Lee #USA

The announcement comes at a pretty fitting time, eh?
Bubba Watson came to own the General Lee after purchasing it at auction for $110,000 in 2012. No word yet on when he plans to unveil the General Lee’s revamped paint job, but we’ll keep you posted when Watson does.
