The BYU football team waxed Big 12 rival Kansas State on Saturday to the tune of a 38-9 beatdown. After the game, the social media team dared a sad Wildcat fan to uphold a disgusting bet.

Prior to kickoff, an X user pledged to stick a burrito where the sun doesn’t shine should the Cougars emerge victorious.

Kansas State entered at 3-0. They were seven-point favorites. What could go wrong?!

Everything!

BYU dominated the football game from start to finish, scoring 38 of the final 41 points. In the second and third quarters, the Cougars outscored the Wildcats 31-6.

The outcome was evident before the fourth quarter kicked off as the bet backfired in epic fashion!

After the game, BYU reminded the bettor of his debt with a play on the Taco Bell slogan.

The online joke was made in jest of a Florida State fan’s previous unpaid debt. After a loss to Georgia Tech in the season opener, the fan promised to eat a solo cup’s worth of poop should the Seminoles lose Game 2 to Boston College.

When they did, the fan closed all social media accounts while running away from ridicule.

Since, a number of online users have been seen making outlandish gambles involving their favorite teams. BYU’s football team got in on the fun with its jovial rebuttal.

In the case of Florida State, many believe the fan to have cursed his Seminoles by not upholding his end of the bargain. The team would go onto lose its next game to Memphis in embarrassing fashion.

Hopefully, the football gods don’t take this lighthearted bet as seriously!
