According to CARFAX Used Car Listings, a used 2017 Bentley Bentayga can be purchased for anywhere between $83,995 and $123,000, so it’s not cheap.

Former NFL quarterback Cam Newton, who owns a used 2017 Bentley Bentayga, has filed a lawsuit against his ex-girlfriend and mother to four of his children Shakia “Kia” Proctor because she has the car and allegedly won’t give it back to him.

Newton earned over $133 million in salary over 11 seasons in the NFL with the Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots.

RadarOnline.com reports that the lawsuit claims that Newton only let Proctor use the Bentley “while they were in a romantic relationship.”

Since they broke up in 2019 after dating since 2013, the “understanding” was that she would return the car to him.

“Although the relationship has ended, [Proctor] remains in possession of the Car and refuses to return the Car,” the lawsuit reads.

It continues, “In 2019, the relationship ended, and [Proctor] moved out of [Newton’s] residence.

“As part of the moveout process, [Newton] allowed [Proctor] to use the Car to move her things out of Plaintiff’s residence with the understanding that the Car would be promptly returned. [Proctor] never returned the vehicle to [Newton] after she moved out of [Newton’s] residence.”

Newton, who holds the title and registration for the car, has allegedly asked Proctor repeatedly to return the Bentley.

This is just the latest litigation between the former couple.

In 2022, Proctor claimed Newton wasn’t following their temporary custody agreement.

That battle also began in 2019 after their breakup.

Cam Newton first filed a lawsuit against Proctor for paternity in 2019. She then countersued for $15,000 a month in child support, plus monthly utilities and expenses.

Proctor claimed that Newton owed her $21,357 as part of the agreement, but had not paid her, and asked a judge to find Newton in contempt of court.
