If you want an opinion on, well, anything, the one of the most go-to people in the sports world is certainly Charles Barkley. He may not always be right, or know what he’s talking about, but he will definitely share his thoughts on just about any topic.
So when the subject of Kevin Durant and C.J. McCollum’s Twitter beef came up as Chuck was speaking to Ben Golliver of The Crossover he, as usual, had thoughts.
Barkley, who has already proven that he doesn’t mind making Durant feel awkward, said, “Kevin Durant is just a really nice guy trying to be a bad guy. You can’t do that. It doesn’t work. He spends all his time trying to prove to people how tough and bad he is. He’s so worried about what other people say. Kevin Durant is a great player and a great kid. I was one of those guys who criticized him for going to Golden State, but he doesn’t have to respond every time someone says something about it.”
Durant, who has repeatedly seemed to be a wee bit sensitive to criticism on social media, insists that he is not, something Barkley doesn’t believe.
So they can keep talking but I have to shutup? Sounds fishy to me but u know what, I’m not even allowed to be on here since I’m in the nba. Lemme fall back. My bad

“Who’s got thinner skin: Shaquille O’Neal or Kevin Durant? They’ve both got thin skin like Flat Stanley,” asked Barkley. “They need to just chill out.”
Charles also had thoughts, of course, on LeBron’s move to the Lakers (“he wants to be a big Hollywood mogul”), the Lakers’ chances now (“not even close to a top-tier team”), the Celtics being favorites in the East (“everybody needs to take a step back”), Kawhi Leonard (“probably the best player in the East if he’s healthy”), Golden State with the addition of DeMarcus Cousins (“pretty much unbeatable right now”), and much more.
Here’s that clout u ordered. Enjoy
