Christian Pulisic continues to recover from an injury at the World Cup but he is feeling well enough to party with Megan Moroney. The 27-year-old soccer star was spotted with the 28-year-old country music singer in Music City earlier this week.
It could be nothing. It could be something!
Pulisic was labeled as the scapegoat for the United States at the World Cup and drew widespread scrutiny for how he handled his discomfort during the final match. His critics will not like to see him out drinking on Lower Broadway just a few weeks later.

You know the story by now. Belgium went up 3-1 on the United States during the Round of 16 at the World Cup. Christian Pulisic was on the wrong end of an uncomfortable challenge during the second half. He ultimately took himself off in the 59th minute.
Carli Lloyd did not hold back her thoughts on the USMNT or its star player after the demoralizing loss. She later doubled down to rip his comments about getting rest. Fans were just as frustrated. Even Landon Donovan joined in on the criticism.
The discourse got pretty heated. Pulisic eventually released a (mostly empty) statement about the performance. He was ultimately justified for his early exit because of the injury diagnosis. It was ruled as a microfracture of the tibia/fibula.
Most people backed off of their critique and gave Pulisic the benefit of the doubt that he was really hurt. Sydney Leroux did not. She questioned why he did not play through his injury during what could be the biggest match of his entire life and based her assessment on her own experience throughout her own career. “Tape it up,” she said.
No matter how you feel about what happened, it appears as though Christian Pulisic is doing better today than he was on July 6.
The United States soccer star partied with Megan Moroney in Nashville.
Whiskey Jam is one of Nashville’s longest-running music series. It features over 800 artists and bands at over 100 shows every year. Some of them are bigger than others. And you never know who might pop up!
That was the case on Monday night. Whiskey Jam, which is now held at Dierks Bentley’s bar on Broadway instead of the Loser’s parking lot, teased a “surprise guest” for the latest edition of the legendary concert series.
It was Brad Paisley.
He played a few songs off of Tacklebox — Disc 1 and brought out a few guests, including David Lee Murphy.
Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row is a multi-story bar. While Paisley performed on the first floor, Megan Moroney and Christian Pulisic hung out in the roped-off VIP section on the rooftop. Whiskey Jam posted the following video on its Instagram story:

Moroney follows Pulisic on Instagram. Pulisic follows Moroney. He brought his cousin to her concert in Miami on July 18. They apparently met up again in Nashville just two days later. Let the rumors begin!
