The Los Angeles Dodgers took it to the New York Mets on Tuesday night after securing the victory 5-0.

Clayton Kershaw was on the mound and was able to secure his 200th career win.

After finally surpassing 200 career wins, Kershaw joins elite company that may punch his ticket to the MLB Hall of Fame.

According to Talkin’ Baseball, Clayton Kershaw joins Justin Verlander, Zack Greinke, and Max Scherzer as the only active pitchers with 200+ wins.

That’s quite the group to be compared to. Each of those guys is likely a Hall of Fame candidate. With that said, Kershaw certainly has had a magnificent career.

On Tuesday night, the Dodgers pitcher threw for seven innings, recording nine strikeouts while allowing just three hits.

And of course, MLB fans shared their reactions to Clayton Kershaw finally earning his 200th career win.

Dodgers fans love Kershaw.

Sounds like Clayton Kershaw could surpass these guys one day.

This is an incredible accomplishment for Kershaw though. Especially considering he’s the only player on that list who has achieved this feat playing on the same team throughout his career.

The Dodgers have a good one and we just hope he finishes his career in Los Angeles.
