Corgi With Perfect Track Record May Have Predicted How Lakers-Warriors Series Will Pan Out

Plenty of NBA fans prematurely celebrated the demise of the Lakers after Los Angeles struggled to find its footing over the course of the regular season, but the team that sported a 27-32 record at the All-Star break was able to rally in a big way en route to securing a spot in the play-in tournament.

LeBron James and Co. ultimately earned the right to face off against the Grizzlies in the first round before ending Memphis’ season (and possibly Dillon Brooks’ NBA career) in six games.

As things currently stand, it seems like the Lakers are clicking on all cylinders based on how they’ve fared in a Western Conference Semifinals showdown with the Warriors where LA pulled out to a 3-1 series lead with a 104-101 victory on Monday night.

Steph Curry will probably have to track down the Clutch Gene he’s seemingly misplaced if Golden State wants to come back from the brink of elimination (although there’s plenty of blame to go around thanks in no small part to the recent contributions—or lack thereof—of Jordan Poole).

Thankfully, the Warriors can take a bit of solace in knowing there’s one authority that has predicted the outcome of the first four games of the series and has them staging a comeback: AirCorg, a TikTok-famous corgi.

While the social media phenom that’s embraced the “Steph Furry” moniker might have a bit of work to do to catch up to the supposedly psychic octopus that predicted the outcome of World Cup games with startling accuracy, the corgi in question prophesized the Warriors would even things up after losing game one only to drop the next two games.

Based on what’s transpired so far, it’s only natural to assume the Warriors will end up winning the next three games to punch their ticket to the Western Conference Finals.

Who needs advanced stats and analytics when you can watch a video of a corgi that shoots basketballs?
