The Dallas Cowboys are concerned Bill Belichick and the Patriots learning their signals ahead of their Week 4 game.

According to offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer, the team believes the Patriots may use former Dallas backup quarterback, Will Grier, to learn their signals.

Will Grier, who served as the Cowboys’ backup quarterback from 2021 to 2023, signed with the Patriots last week off the Bengals practice squad.

During his final preseason game with the Cowboys, Grier started and played the full-game – he balled out with 305 passing yards and four total touchdowns.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday morning, Cowboys offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer expressed his apprehensions, stating, “We know Will knows where a lot of the bones are buried. We know Zeke does as well … I’m sure (Grier) is definitely being interrogated.”

Running back Ezekiel Elliott, another former Cowboy and joined the Patriots this season, adds another layer to the situation.

With Zeke and Grier’s having previous knowledge of the Cowboys’ offensive system, the Patriots might have an advantage heading into the game.

The Cowboys apparently changed their hand signals to prevent potential signal theft by Belichick and the Pats.

The teams will face off in Dallas this Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET.
