When you are as wealthy as soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo is money is literally no object. (Must be nice, right?) Bro earned more money in 2016 than any other athlete in the world. And if it weren’t for the nutty Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor fight he probably would be at the top again this year.
Heck, the amount of money Ronaldo makes for just ONE Instagram post is more than many of us will make over several YEARS. And I’m heading down a path I didn’t intended to go down. Sorry.
The point is if Cristiano Ronaldo wants to buy a $2.9 MILLION 2017 Bugatti Chiron then Cristiano Ronaldo buys a $2.9 MILLION 2017 Bugatti Chiron. Which is exactly what he did and shared with his followers on Instagram Thursday.
“New animal in the building Bugatti Chiron 🎉🎉🎉✌️👌✈️”
He’s not kidding with that airplane emoji either. That car is pretty much as fast as a damn jet.
Check out what a Bugatti Veyron, the predecessor to the Chiron, did against a Euro Fighter on Top Gear a few years back.
According to Wikipedia, the Bugatti Chiron can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 2.4 seconds, to 120 mph in 6.5 seconds, 190 mph in 13.6 seconds and 250 mph in 32.6 seconds.
That’s not at all insane.
And here’s my favorite line in the description, “The Chiron’s top speed is electronically limited to 420 km/h (261 mph) for safety reasons.”
