Dana White’s Power Slap League was set to debut on January 11. However, the UFC President found himself in hot water after getting into a physical altercation with his wife.
Since then, all eyes have been on White, as many are upset with him over the video that surfaced on New Year’s Eve. Now, it appears he’s finally feeling the repercussions.
According to Front Office Sports, TBS, the channel broadcasting the eight-episode season of the Power Slap League, has officially removed it from its schedule. “The episode of Power Slap — scheduled to follow AEW at 10 pm on Jan. 11 — is no longer on TBS’s lineup for that night. In its place, that evening and the following Wednesday slot are Young Sheldon reruns.”
TBS caught some heat from well-known MMA reporter Ariel Helwani on Wednesday. It had been several days after Dana White’s altercation was released by TMZ. At the time, it was believed the Power Slap League was going to be aired as scheduled.
