Colorado football will not suspend quarterback Shedeur Sanders for poking Colorado State defensive lineman Mohamed Kamara in the eye during Saturday’s 43-35 win, Mirror Sports US has learned.

The signal-caller, who is head coach Deion Sanders’ son, has not publicly addressed the eye poke incident. Colorado declined to comment beyond informing Mirror Sports US that it would not punish him.

The Colorado-Colorado State game was extremely chippy and featured a hit on Travis Hunter from Henry Blackburn that also received controversy. Despite calls for punishment, Blackburn will also not be punished for his hit on Hunter.
