For the first time in his career, likely future Hall of Fame running back Derrick Henry is set to hit free agency. The Tennessee Titans running back will surely have suitors this offseason interested in adding some physicality to their run game.

That’s exactly what Derrick Henry provides. At 6-foot-3, 247lb, he’s less running back and more freight train when it comes to opposing defenders trying to tackle him.

His otherworldly strength and athleticism have been known since his record-setting high school career in Florida. A new video out on Wednesday ahead of free agency a week from now shows that he’s still got all of that strength.

That is an absolute mountain of a man. How anyone that big can move like he can is truly tremendous. Yes, he took a step back last year at 30-years–old, but the Titans’ offense was a complete mess. These highlights will show he can still be a really productive back.

Imagine Derrick Henry behind one of the league’s better offensive lines like in Philadelphia, Baltimore, or Dallas. He could be a huge difference maker for a team truly looking to contend and win now.

Henry still ran for over 1000 yards last year, and he’s ran for at least 900 in six straight seasons. In 2022, he ran for 1,537 yards, finishing second in the league in rushing.

The running back market is crowded, with other top-flight backs like Saquon Barkley and Josh Jacobs also on the open market. But, someone is going to get a great running back with gas still in the tank in Derrick Henry.
