Deshaun Watson is looking to the future after a year full of off-the-field issues. The quarterback recently posted a video to TikTok letting fans in on his big plans for 2023.

The clip has now gone viral, leading many NFL fans to comment on the post.

Watson was enthralled in legal controversy last year as more than two dozen women accused him of sexual misconduct. The accusations led to an 11-game suspension. This, coming after missing all of 2021 as a member of the Houston Texans.

Despite the alleged misconduct, the passer was provided with a historic new deal in Cleveland. The Browns’ front office gifted Watson a fully guaranteed contract worth $230M over five seasons.

Many were critical of the deal at first report as it seemed the Browns attempted to circumvent his pending suspension by backloading his pay schedule over the final four years of that deal. That agreement also upset NFL owners as it changed the way negotiations would be handled for future quarterbacks.

Look no further than division rival Baltimore’s continuing standstill in Lamar Jackson contract talks.

That massive deal didn’t necessarily pay immediate dividends for the Browns in 2022. When Watson did return to the field, he largely struggled. That was to be somewhat expected after missing nearly two years of action.

The signal caller threw for less than 200 yards per game while tossing seven touchdowns to five interceptions. He completed a career-low 58% of his passes.

But Deshaun Watson is ready to put all of that behind him. He’s looking forward to 2023 in his latest social media post.

The video shows the quarterback sipping liquor and listening to music as he relaxes during the NFL offseason. The caption, “When you know 2023 ’bout to be a movie,” has many fans talking.

Browns fans think a Super Bowl title is incoming.

One Cleveland supporter wrote, “Deshaun Watson about to return to old form,” while another said, “That boy looks comfortable.”

This fan posted, “2023 is the year, Super Bowl!”

Others, though, aren’t ready to forget about last season.

This person wrote, “His character will be his undoing.”

Deshaun Watson is ready to put the past behind him and focus on 2023. We’ll see if he succeeds on the field in Year 2 with the Browns.
