The Miami Dolphins season has come to a disappointing end after being dominated by the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Wild Card Round, 26-7. When you add in the incredibly cold weather, it was truly a miserable night for the Miami Dolphins.

Now, people are getting their licks in against the Dolphins, who many felt were overhyped during the season and proved that with three straight losses down the stretch.

This game wasn’t ever particularly close. Total yards were 409-264 in favor of the Chiefs, and that includes a bunch of garbage time yards for the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins’ offense really only had one explosive play, a 53-yard touchdown pass to Tyreek Hill in the first half to cut the Chiefs’ lead to 10-7.

The Miami offense really sputtered down the stretch after having an outstanding year for most of the season. A lot of that was predicated on some interesting new motion concepts they introduced pre-snap that gave team hits.

The names for those concepts were pretty unique, if not a little inappropriate. That’s if Coach Vass, a popular football consultant who frequently tweets about the game and has worked with teams at every level, is to be believed.

“I’m not sure if it was ever revealed but I guess now is as good time as any to do so.

The names the Dolphins used for those fast motions that everybody started copying were…

S— and S—- (rhymes with fart)

Apologies if this was already revealed and it’s old news. But at the beginning of hired gun season, it was still a mystery, and I was sworn to secrecy for a while,” he said on Twitter.

Very interesting, Mike McDaniel. Ironically, both of those words could be used to describe the Miami offense down the stretch.
