The Philadelphia Eagles are set to take on the Dallas Cowboys in an ultra-important NFC East showdown. However, there are some injury concerns for Jalen Hurts.
For that reason, Philly is going in a different direction at quarterback for this game.
According to Adam Schefter, the Eagles have officially named Gardner Minshew the starting quarterback. With Jalen Hurts nursing a shoulder injury, Philadelphia will give him a break to heal up for the playoffs.

This is a smart move by the Eagles, as they just have to win one of their last three games to clinch the division. So, might as well proceed with caution, as they’ll want Hurts under center for the postseason.
Regardless, NFL fans everywhere are hyped to watch Gardner Minshew take command of the huddle once again. Minshew Mania is in full effect!

Of course, Eagles fans are still confident with Minshew under center.

We’ll have to see how it all plays out. Reports indicate that Gardner Minshew has looked phenomenal in practice all week. If that’s the case, then the Eagles may just continue flying high with a different quarterback at the helm.
