Ella Langley’s ‘Choosin Texas’ is popular across the country except for Tennessee this weekend.
Earlier this week, ‘Choosin Texas’ broke a Billboard record after topping the charts for the 23rd week in a row.

“Choosin’ Texas” rewrites the record for the longest run ever achieved atop the Billboard Hot 100 as it scores a 23rd week at No. 1. The smash one-ups the command of Mariah Carey’s perennial “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” which has topped the chart each Yuletide season since the classic 1994 carol first led.
Langley is apparently in Tennessee this week for the big game between Texas and Tennessee and got a frosty reception while playing her big hit.
In a viral video, Langley sang, “I’ll know that his mind wasn’t ever gonna change, Cause his heart still belongs to the Lone Star State,” which led the crowd to erupt in boos and throw horns-down signs to mock the Longhorns.
The country music star reacted to the boos by wagging her finger at the audience while smiling.
Knoxville fans boo the hell out of “Choosin’ Texas” ahead of Tennessee’s matchup with the Longhorns this weekend.
