The Tiger Woods-Erica Herman breakup saga has come to a close.

Alex Oliveira of the New York Post obtained court documents showing Erica Herman is dropping her $30 million lawsuit against Tiger Woods’ estate (pending an appeal) following a judge’s ruling that she must abide by a 2017 Non Disclosure Agreement she signed before dating Tiger.

The most recent court filing obtained by the Post stated “The Plaintiff, Erica Herman, by and through her undersigned counsel, hereby dismisses without prejudice her Complaint, filed on October 26, 2022, pending resolution of the appeal in Herman v. Woods and determination of whether her claims are subject to arbitration.”

The ruling that Herman must abide by the NDA came in May. At that time, Tiger Woods’ ex was quick to appeal on June 2nd. Now this appears to be coming to a close as paperwork has been filed to drop the lawsuit.

This all began because Erica Herman claims Tiger Woods tricked her into moving out of the home by telling her to pack some luggage for a trip to The Bahamas. However, once she reached the airport, Woods told her to speak to his lawyer, left on the plane without her and locked her out of the home.

The issue of the NDA became particularly poignant in the media when Herman began opening up about the relationship in May.

The golf world was quick to react to the news that Herman is dropping her lawsuit. Within minutes, ‘Tiger Woods’ and ‘Erica Herman’ were both trending on Twitter.

Tiger was reportedly ‘livid’ over Herman filing the lawsuit. And documents filed by his lawyers vehemently denied claims made by his live-in ex-girlfriend.
