Heading into the 2023 offseason, there are tons of question marks surrounding some of the most notable quarterbacks in the league, including future Hall of Famers such as Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers.

In addition to the futures of Brady and Rodgers, the destinations of former MVP Lamar Jackson — who will become a free agent if he fails to sign a new contract with the Baltimore Ravens — and the above-average Derek Carr (who will be traded or released) are also up in the air.

Attempting to provide some more clarity on the situation, ESPN conducted interviews with anonymous NFL executives in order to get a sense of what they believe will happen with these top QBs in the coming weeks and months.

According to the report from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, an anonymous NFL executive believes the following:

-Tom Brady will play for the Las Vegas Raiders (if he plays next season)

-Lamar Jackson will play for the Atlanta Falcons

-Derek Carr will play for the Houston Texans

-Aaron Rodgers could be traded to either the New York Jets or Indianapolis Colts

Of all of those scenarios, Brady to the Raiders feels the most likely as all signs seem to point to him being done in Tampa Bay. Furthermore, the Raiders — who have Josh McDaniels as their head coach, who worked with Brady for many years in New England — are likely delusional enough to believe that a 46-year-old Brady (he’s 45 now but turns 46 in August) is their missing piece.

As for Aaron Rodgers, reports indicate that if the Packers do decide to trade him, they’ll be asking for “at least two first-round picks” and will likely only send him to an AFC team.
