ESPN host Mike Greenberg made an embarrassing mistake during the NFL draft.
During day 2 of the draft, Greenberg said that Denzel Boston, who the Cleveland Browns picked, was David Boston’s son.
Unfortunately, Denzel Boston and David Boston are not related.
“You remember his dad, David Boston, first-round pick out of Ohio State in 1999.”

Greenberg later issued an on-air apology over his mistake.
“I wanted to make an apology to Denzel Boston, who earlier today I misidentified as being the son of former NFL receiver David Boston. It was a mistake in my research, it’s a terrible one, and I apologize to them both, they are not related to each other, so I apologize to both David and Denzel Boston.”
