The Atlanta Falcons and first-year head coach Arthur Smith earned their first win of the season this past Sunday with a road win against the Giants. With that first W out of the way, Smith wants to get one simple message across, and he’s doing so by finding his inner Ted Lasso.

During Wednesday’s press conference, reporters were greeted with a ‘Believe’ sign that’s featured throughout the show. When Smith got finished answering questions, he tapped the sign twice just like Lasso does in the fictional soccer show.

The Falcons actually have some hope and belief now and they’ll be looking to carry that momentum into their next matchup against the Washington Football Team.

It’s a pretty solid move by Smith bringing in the Lasso vibes. He’s keeping things light and catching the eye of some fans that maybe aren’t paying too much attention to the Falcons at the moment. Plus, you can’t really go wrong when you decide to involve a little Lasso here and there.

Smith seemed like one of the cooler assistant coaches in the NFL while helping during his decade-long stint with the Titans, and now he’s vaulting up the leaderboard as one of the coolest head coaches in the league.
