NFL Fans Think Dak Prescott Is Now Cursed After Signing Deal To Work With Kylie Jenner

NFL Fans Think Dak Prescott Is Cursed For Working With Kylie Jenner

Despite what Jeff Van Gundy thinks, there are a whole lot of sports fans (and several athletes) who believe there is such a thing as the Kardashian curse.

Which is why when news broke that Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott had signed a new deal to be a brand ambassador for the sparkling drink line Glow Beverages, they expressed concern.

The reason for that concern is because in addition to signing Prescott, Glow also signed Kylie Jenner as a brand ambassador. Making things even worse, in their eyes, Jenner is also an equity stakeholder in the brand.

“It’s the GLOW for me. I’m excited to join the @drinkglow team,” said Jenner on Instagram.

“I’ve always been interested in the water and functional beverage category. My ambassadorship with GLOW is exciting as it allows me to support a product that is revolutionizing the industry. In the past, sparkling waters have lacked enhancements and functional waters have lacked carbonation.”

“GLOW is an incredible functional drink that tastes amazing,” Precott echoed in a separate Instagram post. “I’m proud to be an ambassador of the brand and an equity stakeholder as well. Let’s GLOW!”

Prescott, who has been injured and missed several weeks has said that he is “determined” to return and hopes to play this week when the Cowboys take on the Lions.

Many NFL fans on social media don’t expect Dak Prescott to last very long now that’s working with Kylie Jenner

“Welp Cowboys fans y’all had a good 6 weeks,” tweeted another fan.

“Damn bruh just when I started rooting for him to come back,” wrote another.

“Dak needs to have a heart to heart with Miles Austin about how this goes down,” another fan tweeted.

Austin famously followed up back to back Pro Bowl seasons by briefly dating Kim Kardashian. The next year he played in only 10 games and caught just 43 passes. His career only went downhill from there.

Others supposedly ruined by the Kardashian curse include running back Derrick Ward, high school basketball phenom Julian Brooks, NBA big man Tristan Thompson, running back Reggie Bush, as well as NBA stars Ben Simmons, Rashad McCants, Jordan Clarkson, Chandler Parsons, Kris Humphries, and Lamar Odom.

Kendall Jenner, for her part, thinks talk of a curse is “offensive,” unlike many of the players who dated her and her sisters who seemed to instantly lose all of their ability on offense.

And don’t even get fans started on the effect the Kardashian-Jenner women have had on the careers of Kanye West, Tyga and Travis Scott.
