The Las Vegas Raiders headed into this year’s NFL offseason with some major holes to fill on their roster.

The biggest need at the start of the offseason was a quarterback, but once they landed Jimmy Garoppolo, it seemed the most important need to address would be in the secondary.

The team’s pass defense has struggled for a while now and fans were hoping they’d make some improvements this offseason.

They ended up bringing in Duke Shelley and Marcus Epps this offseason, but it seemed they needed more to fix a pass defense that allowed the NFL’s 8th most yards per attempt and 4th most total yards last season.

It looks like they could try to turn to a former All-Pro corner to reinforce that secondary.

According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Raiders are working out Marcus Peters today.

Peters’ has been making an impact in the NFL since the second he made it to the league.

He won the Defensive Rookie of the Year back in 2015 and earned a 2nd Team All-Pro nod that year as he was tied for the most interceptions in the NFL that year with 8.

He would return to the All-Pro list in 2016 and 2019.

Marcus Peters isn’t still one of the top corners in the league, but he proved last year with the Ravens that he can still contribute for a playoff team.

If he joins the Las Vegas Raiders, he’d be an interesting option for a team that needs to improve its pass defense in a division that is loaded at quarterback.
