Heading into the 2019 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals had a couple of very talented players to choose from with pick 1.

They had to decided between the draft’s best QB in Kyler Murray or Nick Bosa, the draft’s best edge rusher.

They ended up picking Murray and Steve Keim, who was their GM at the time, revealed on “The Herd” that Bosa told the Cardinals he’d haunt them if they made that pick.

“I’ll never forget he [Bosa] puts his arm around me and Kliff Kingsbury,” Keim said. “He put both of us in basically a headlock. He tells us, ‘I think you guys are probably going to take that little quarterback, and if you do, I will haunt you for the rest of your career.'”

It’s hard to argue with the Cardinals’ decision to take Kyler Murray 1st overall in that draft. At the time, Josh Rosen was the team’s QB and they heading for more disappointing seasons if they didn’t address the position.

Kyler has done a pretty good job of paying off that pick since he was drafted. He won Offensive Rookie of the Year and has already been named to a pair of Pro Bowls. He also led the Cardinals to the playoffs in just his 3rd year in the league.

Still, Bosa has lived up to his promise to haunt the Cardinals throughout his career. He has played against the Cardinals 7 times in his career and has 17 tackles with 3 sacks and a pair of forced fumbles. He also has a winning record against the Cardinals at 4-3.

Unfortunately for the Cardinals, they are going to have to see a lot more of Nick Bosa over the next few years.
