A new trailer for Full Swing on Netflix just dropped and it is electric.

The new footage teases just how much drama the Full Swing team was able to capture as some of the PGA Tour’s biggest stars splintered the tour and left for LIV Golf.

Full Swing premieres on Wednesday, February 15th. The team behind this project is the same team behind Drive to Survive, the series that has really brought Formula 1 to the United States.

Stars featured in the first season include Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Scottie Scheffler, Ian Poulter, Brooks Koepka, Collin Morikawa, Ian Poulter, Rory McIlroy and others.

In this new trailer, we see Ian Poulter losing his cool in the locker room and throwing gear. We also see Jena Sims, the wife of Brooks Koepka, discuss uncertainty about his future and how he won more when they first got together.

Of course, both of those golfers are now on the LIV Golf Tour. It remains to be seen how Full Swing will approach the fracturing of the tours with stars jumping ship from the PGA Tour for LIV. But that will certainly be a major plotline of this forthcoming series from Netflix.

Brooks appears to acknowledge it in the trailer. He says “I understand I’m going to get s–t for it and I’m totally cool with that.” In the very next scene, the person behind the camera asks Ian Poulter “straight up, are you going to LIV?” and he smirks at the camera.

It is impossible to overstate how perfect the timing of this project was for Netflix. With the rise of the LIV Golf Tour and subsequent poaching of some of golf’s biggest stars, many of whom are featured in this show, it is a unique look at the world of golf over the past year.
