There’s no bad blood between Gina Carano and Ronda Rousey even though they’re about to fight each other.
Next month, Carano and Rousey will face off against each other in MMA on Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions Netflix card.
While speaking with SportsCenter, Rousey revealed that she specifically wanted to fight Carano to motivate the former MMA star-turned actress to get back in shape.
“I was nine months pregnant, and I saw a video of Gina Carano giving an interview, and she didn’t look good,” Rousey said on ESPN’s SportsCenter. “She gained an unhealthy amount of weight. My first thought was, ‘Oh my god. What can I do? What can I do to help?’ The reason I had that thought was she’s the one woman not only in MMA who also doesn’t owe me a damn thing, but that I owe immensely. I’m always trying to look at what I could do for her.
During the press tour for the upcoming fight, Carano told the media that she wants to be friends with Rousey after their fight and would be interested in making a movie with her.
‘We’re going to do this fight, and it’s going to be tough on both of us, but afterwards I can’t wait to be her friend. I feel like we have similar experiences, and few people have done what we’ve done…Yes someone put us in a movie together because we would rock it.”

Rousey hasn’t acted in a movie since 2018, but I’m sure she would come back to star in a movie with Carano.
