Gina Carano Paid Over $1 Million In 17-Second Loss To Ronda Rousey ‘I Wanted To Last Longer’

Gina Carano got paid a lot of money in her MMA loss to Ronda Rousey.

On Saturday night, Carano fought for the first time in over ten years, and got absolutely dominated by Rousey in a fight that lasted on 17 seconds.

The California State Athletic Commission would later disclose that Carano was paid over $1 million for her fight against Rousey.

Carano spoke with the AFP after her loss to Rousey.

“I wanted that to last longer — I felt like I was so ready, I felt so good,” she said. “But I haven’t been here for 17 years. I wanted to hit her.

“Right now, just getting in the cage was a victory, getting here after 17 years is a victory. Fighting a legend was a victory. I feel great, I just wanted to fight, and I didn’t get to do that.”
