Gina Carano doesn’t regret making the controversial comments that led to her being fired by Disney.

Back in 2020, Carano shared a post that compared the treatment of conservatives in 2020’s America to that of Jewish people in 1930s-40s Nazi Germany.

Disney later fired Carano from her role in “The Mandalorian & Grogu,” prompting her to file a lawsuit against the media giant.

Disney eventually settled Carano’s lawsuit instead of going to trial.

“The Walt Disney Company and Lucasfilm are pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement with Gina Carano to resolve the issues in her pending lawsuit against the companies. Ms. Carano was always well respected by her directors, co-stars, and staff, and she worked hard to perfect her craft while treating her colleagues with kindness and respect,” the Walt Disney Company said in a statement.

During the press conference for her upcoming fight against Ronda Rousey, Carano was asked about the lawsuit, and reiterated that she believes she did nothing wrong during her time at Disney.

“I took heat for standing up for freedom of speech. I don’t apologize one bit. We cannot let what was happening to this country happen again. We cannot let go of our freedom of speech even if you don’t like it”

On Saturday night, years after getting fired from Disney, Carano is set to return to the limelight by fighting Ronda Rousey on Netflix.
