Gracie Hunt Defends Brittany And Jackson Mahomes: ‘They Are Wonderful People’

Here’s how you know you’re annoying a lot of people. Thursday morning, Fox News published an interview with Gracie Hunt, the daughter of Kansas City Chiefs’ owner Clark Hunt, and the brother of the quarterback playing for her team, Jackson Mahomes, became a topic of conversation.

While discussing how Patrick Mahomes’ life has changed since the 2021 season, Gracie Hunt was asked about his family, in particular his brother Jackson and his wife Brittany.

In 2022, a study found that Jackson Mahomes and Brittany were among the most hated people in the NFL and were the only two people in the top 20 that weren’t a owner, player or coach.

Off the field, his family was routinely criticized over incidents with fans or going back and forth on social media. His brother, Jackson, is a major social media influencer who boasts more than 1 million followers on TikTok, while his wife, Brittany, also has over 1 million followers on Instagram, runs her own business and is a co-owner of the National Women’s Soccer League’s KC Current.

While social media harassment and bullying have come for them both, Hunt pushed back on the critics and strongly defended the Mahomes family.

“I think Patrick Mahomes has a wonderful family – from Brittany to Jackson,” Hunt replied. “They are wonderful people and we are so blessed to have them as part of our organization and are huge rocks in Patrick’s life. I do think that we live in a culture that’s often quick to criticize and slow to forgive. But I think we need to be one that’s quick to forgive and slow to criticize.”

That right there is an answer straight out of the Miss Universe pageant playbook. And she would know it, having followed in her mother Tavia’s footsteps in winning the Miss Kansas USA title in 2021, just like her mom did almost three decades earlier.

Gracie Hunt is getting pretty good at this whole spokesperson thing, especially this week as she’s been interviewed quite a bit.

Earlier this week, the 23-year-old Hunt talked about how she participated in her very first marathon this past July on a whim after stumbling upon a sign for the event after hiking with her mom and and finished it in three hours and 45 minutes.

As for Jackson Mahomes and his annoying behavior, it continues on as he went viral this week after posting a video flexing about all “his” wealth.

“Damn bro crazy flex! So proud of your brother for providing you with the money to make yourself look successful!” one person commented sarcastically, echoing the sentiments of the majority.

Meanwhile, as NFL fans hold their breath that Jackson doesn’t do something stupid over the next two-plus days, many are just waiting to see what outfit Gracie Hunt breaks out for this very special “Red Friday.”
