Haley Cavinder announced her transfer destination on Monday, closing the door on both her recruiting process and retirement speculation. The women’s basketball player and influencer will attend TCU.

The commitment is good news for Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson, who’s reportedly dating the social media star.

Rumors began to arise earlier this year of a potential relationship between the two after Cavinder was seen in the crowd for a pair of Dallas games. They seemed to be confirmed on the Cowboys’ bye week, as Ferguson and Cavinder were spotted spending time at Texas Motor Speedway during his off time.

Social media posts fueled the flames of that dating speculation, and this college commitment offers further confirmation to many following the situation.

Ferguson has blossomed into a star pass catcher for the Cowboys this season, hauling in touchdowns in each of his last three games. In a Sunday matchup against the rival Giants, the tight end tallied four receptions for 26 yards.

His touchdown catch helped Dallas win in a blowout, 49-17, continuing an impressive season for the second-year player. He currently ranks second on the roster in receiving with 354 yards.

Dallas picked up the win on Sunday, but Ferguson got another W the following day.

Haley Cavinder continues basketball career after second transfer.

Cavinder and her sister took over the college basketball world last year at Miami, due to both on and off-court fame. The duo helped the Hurricanes make it to the Elite 8 last March, though their basketball futures appeared all but done after the season ended.

The twins had sights set on WWE careers with both opting to retire after finishing out their time in South Beach. Haley, however, put a hitch in that plan when she decided to keep things going on the hardwood for one more season.

It wouldn’t be at Miami, though. Instead, Cavinder opted to transfer for a second time (she began her career at Fresno State).

After taking a trip to the TCU campus, many believed that to be a destination spot. She confirmed those suspicions on Monday.

Haley Cavinder will suit up for the Horned Frogs in 2024-25, playing out her final season. Located in Fort Worth, she’ll also be that much closer to Jake Ferguson.

Don’t be surprised if you see her at a few more Dallas Cowboys games, both this year and next!

She should give the TCU roster an immediate boost after averaging 16.7 points per game over her first four seasons.
