Howie Roseman, the executive vice president and general manager of the currently undefeated Philadelphia Eagles, joking “confronted” Philly fans following the team’s Thursday Night Football win over the Houston Texans.
Roseman, who likely saw the fans holding a sign that read “Howie you are forgiven!” in addition to listing some of the wide receivers that the team has drafted in recent years, such as Nelson Agholor, Jalen Reagor, and JJ Arcega-Whiteside.
The reason that Roseman is “forgiven”, according to the sign, is because he has since brought the dominant A.J. Brown to town. Eagles fans are so smitten with Brown, of course, because the 25-year-old Pro Bowler has hauled in 43 catches for 718 yards and six touchdowns through eight games this season and has been a key piece in helping develop apparent franchise quarterback Jalen Hurts, who is perhaps the leading MVP candidate right now.

The 47-year-old Roseman, clearly in a buoyant mood following the 29-17 win that improved the Eagles record to 8-0, went over to the group of fans and yelled: “I’m f***ing forgiven for your first f***ing Super Bowl? F**k you!”

Roseman — who has been the team’s GM since 2010 — is referencing the fact that he built the Eagles team that won the Super Bowl over Tom Brady and the New England Patriots back in 2018.
The 8-0 Eagles will now have 10 days off before resuming their season against the Washington Commanders on November 14. The Birds perhaps have the easiest schedule in the NFL the rest of the way, as they face Colts, Packers (who stink right now), Giants, Bears, and Saints down the stretch.
