Last year at this time, Isaiah Thomas was busy setting the Celtics franchise record with 43 straight games with 20+ points, breaking John Havlicek’s record set in 1972. He was fresh off the Eastern Conference Player of the Month in January, leading the NBA in scoring for the month by averaging 32.9 ppg. Fast forward to today, the only headlines IT is gobbling up are spiteful digs at a Cavs organization that discarded him before a mere 16 games into his tenure.

Since he was traded to the Lakers, IT has liked a video of Kyrie doing LeBron dirty and has taken numerous not-so-subtle jabs at the team that rented him for the length of a Blockbuster video. His agent even claimed that the reason the Cavs weren’t succeeding was because LeBron was hogging the ball.

Most recently, on Tuesday’s edition of Undisputed on FSI, Chris Broussard said he was told by a source close to Thomas that Isaiah flat out did not like LeBron and the way he treated him.

“I was talking to somebody yesterday close to Isaiah, and they said he has absolutely no love at all for LeBron. This is real,” Broussard said. “He felt like LeBron kind of talked down to him when he was there and so on and so forth. When Isaiah first got there they actually were hanging out a little bit and it was cool, but it soured pretty quickly.”

God this marriage had about as much promise as Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian.

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
