Jana Kramer, the former One Tree Hill star and ex-wife of former Washington Redskins tight end Mike Caussin, has expressed some strong concerns for Taylor Swift and her relationship with Travis Kelce.
“He reminds me of my ex. But it just feels a little corny, cheesy, like, loving the attention,” Kramer said on her Whine Down podcast. “That’s just kind of, from him, it’s just feels like he is loving the attention.”
Jana Kramer and Mike Caussin went through a rather public and nasty divorce in 2021.
“I loved it at first, but as it went on, honestly, the Super Bowl thing rubbed me kind of the wrong way, the aggression there,” Kramer continued, referencing Travis Kelce hip-checking and screaming at his head coach Andy Reid during the game.”
“And then I’ve just kind of heard things that I don’t love,” she continued. “But again, I just want everyone to be happy, is what I’ll default to. I don’t know, something about him that reminds me of my ex that just rubs me the wrong way.”
“To me, he’s always drunk,” Kramer added. “Every time I’ve ever seen a video he’s just always drunk. And I hope she doesn’t go on that. I see her drinking more now, because like, the company you keep, right?”
For what it’s worth, Josie Van Dyke from The Weekly Trash, who also appeared in the episode with Kramer, stated with much certainty that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are in love/
“It’s real,” she said. “They’re gonna have babies. They’re gonna get married.”
Also of note, in one of Taylor Swift’s songs on The Tortured Poets Department, “Fortnight,” Taylor Swift calls herself a “functioning alcoholic.” She also told Time magazine in her much-publicized interview that she quit drinking in the months leading up to the start of her Eras Tour.
Whatever any of that is worth.
Meanwhile, TMZ reports that sources close to Travis Kelce doesn’t know Jana Kramer and was “taken aback by her inflammatory comments” and “she only invoked his name to clout-chase.”
