JJ Watt showed off his athletic abilities in another sport on Monday, taking his talents to the links. The former NFL star drilled a hole in one while playing a round of golf with his parents.

He posted the result of the impressive shot on his Twitter page and his reaction has now gone viral.

Watt retired from professional football after the 2022-23 season. As a member of both the Texans and Cardinals, he tallied Hall of Fame numbers at his defensive end position.

Over his 10-year career, the defender racked up 114.5 sacks and 586 tackles. He also accumulated 27 forced fumbles while recovering 17 more.

Twice Watt led the NFL in getting to the quarterback, and he always seemed to have a knack for getting to the football. As a result, he was named AP Defensive Player of the Year three different times.

Now, he’s enjoying retirement. And, of course, that comes with the occasional trip to the course.

On Monday, JJ Watt spent the day with his family on the links. Unsurprisingly, he was a superstar from the tee box.

While playing the par 3 course, Watt sank a hole in one. He then posed an interesting question to fans on social media.

Followers quickly came to the same conclusion. It 100% counts.

There were others that quipped with jokes in the comments section.

If I’m JJ Watt, I’m undoubtedly counting it.

He admits to this being his first ever hole in one, and with his dad saying he sailed it over a body of water, I’d say the difficulty of the shot qualifies it.

It seems that most everyone agrees.
