Last year the NFL completely botched the Super Bowl halftime show when they booked Maroon 5 in Atlanta out of all places. The odd booking led to the entire world panning the performance.
Soooooooo…… This halftime show though. That’s all for Travis or nah?!?!?! 🤨

Most of the Internet seemed to think the pairing was a pretty good idea.

While others seemed to be upset that it J-Lo and Shakira weren’t “Miami” enough to performing.
JLo is from the Bronx and Shakira is from Columbia. So idk how this is "Miami flavor" https://t.co/fum8ZUmFoE

JLO is (quite famously) from the Bronx and Shakira was born in Colombia to Lebanese/Western European parents. But sure Miami flavor… https://t.co/yTy1KMLNNj

JLo is a Puerto Rican woman from the Bronx and Shakira is Colombian with homes in Spain, the Bahamas and Miami, so I don’t know about Miami flavor. I think this just means “Latinos will perform.”
The most Miami part is that it’s super bowl LIV — nice branding for the club. https://t.co/JOYxBdoEEW

Haters can hate, J-Lo and Shakira are going to fucking kill it.
ignoring anybody who feels the need to make a big deal out of pretending they're not gonna enjoy the hell out of a J Lo/Shakira halftime show
