After starting out the season 0-2 following losses to the Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys, Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals closed out the 2022 season as the hottest team in the NFL and ultimately finished with a 12-4 record.

As the Bengals head into the playoffs as the #3 overall seed and as the defending AFC champions, third-year quarterback Joe Burrow is clearly feeling good about both himself and his team’s chances.

Speaking to the media following their season-ending victory over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, Burrow was asked about the team’s championship window and said that it’s always open because of him: “The window is my whole career.”

“The window is my whole career,” Burrow said to reporters following the Bengals’ regular season finale on Sunday. “Everybody that we have in that locker room, all the coaches we have. Things are going to change year-to-year, but our window is always open.”

This season, Burrow played in all 16 of the Bengals’ games and completed 68.3% of his passes for 4,575 yards, 35 touchdowns (a career high) and 12 interceptions. Burrow also rushed for another five touchdowns and lost three fumbles.

To kick off the defense of their AFC title, Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals will take on the Baltimore Ravens in the Wild Card round of the playoffs on Sunday night at 8:15 p.m. EST.

Elsewhere in the AFC, the Los Angeles Chargers will travel to Florida to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday night, while the Buffalo Bills will host the Miami Dolphins on Sunday afternoon. By virtue of being the #1 overall seed in the conference, the Kansas City Chiefs have a bye week.

Meanwhile, in the NFC, the 49ers will host the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday at 4:30, the Giants will visit the Vikings on Sunday afternoon, while the Cowboys will head to Tampa for the final Monday Night Football game of the season.
