The Colorado football team landed a commitment from five-star offensive lineman Jordan Seaton in early December. Two weeks after that pledge, which aired on national television, Deion Sanders’ top prospect didn’t sign.

National Signing Day came and went without Seaton’s signature, immediately sparking rumors of a flip.

Seaton was set to be part of a Colorado group that ranks in the Top 25, mostly due to the Buffs’ No. 1 transfer class. The tackle provided assistance at an area of need for an offense that allowed the most sack yardage in the nation last season.

A huge get for Coach Prime, Seaton could’ve potentially been a starter the day he stepped on campus. The might still be the case, but we’ll have to wait a bit longer to find out.

The big man didn’t sign his Letter of Intent on Wednesday.

Is that two-week commitment still firm? Many are speculating about a possible flip.

Jordan Seaton doesn’t sign with Colorado

Multiple schools have reportedly been in contact with Seaton, and one is standing out as a frontrunner.

Maryland landed a crystal ball projection from 24/7 Sports as they predict a flip. Tennessee is another program said to be in communication with the offensive lineman.

Deion Sanders and Co. still have time to get the deal done as the early signing period runs through Friday.

Should Seaton choose to go elsewhere, though, Coach Prime will lose the headliner of his 2024 recruiting class.
