Jordy Frahm’s Husband Continues Wild Behavior At College World Series Despite His Ejection Contradiction

Nebraska ace Jordy Frahm threw a career-high 10 innings at the Women’s College World Series on Thursday. Her husband, Trey Frahm, continued his college softball shenanigans in the crowd.

He directly contradicted himself in terms of his behavior.

The star pitcher’s husband said that his ejection from the college softball Super Regional was not normal but that did not stop him from acting the same at the World Series! Frahm chopped crotch.

Trey Frahm is the husband of Jordy Frahm, whose maiden name is Bahl. The former No. 1 overall recruit in the Class of 2021 won back-to-back national championships at Oklahoma in her first two years out of high school. She transferred home to Nebraska in 2024.

The Huskers went 43-15 last season and reached the Super Regionals. Their star pitcher got married to former Huskers baseball player Trey Frahm in August.

Jordy Bahl led Nebraska right back to the Super Regional in her first season as Jordy Frahm. She punched a ticket to the College World Series with a strikeout last Saturday.

However, her husband — who sat front row on the third base line for the entire Super Regional — was not there to watch it happen. He was thrown out of the game just a few outs prior to the final strikeout.

The exact reason for his ejection is unknown but a televised crotch chop might’ve had something to do with it. Perhaps there was some heckling.

When asked about what happened, Trey Frahm said that he typically remains calm during his wife’s starts. The Super Regional game was the exception. He claimed that he does not usually get that rowdy!

That does not appear to be true…

Trey Frahm got rowdy at the College World Series.

Nebraska played its first game of the College World Series against Arkansas on Thursday night. Jordy Frahm was in the circle. Her husband was in the crowd. He wore the same red and white striped overalls.

The Huskers ultimately defeated the Hogs on a walk-off home run in the 10th inning. It was electric.

Nebraska advanced to play Alabama. Frahm, who was just named as the player of the year, will presumably get right back in the circle to pitch again on Saturday. Her husband will be in attendance.

And if Thursday night is any indication, he will be chopping crotch.

Trey Frahm tried to say that the Super Regional was the exception but there he was on Thursday, at the College World Series, doing a modified version of the same gesture from last weekend. Instead of chopping his own crotch, which might’ve gotten him ejected, he chopped the crotch of another.

I don’t know if Frahm considers his crotch chop to fall under the label of “calm” behavior or if the unwritten rules on behavior are thrown out of the window for the College World Series. He was not “calm” during Game 1 so I cannot imagine he will be “calm” during Game 2.

Either way, Frahm and the other overall-clad Nebraska fans are having fun and that is what college sports are supposed to be— fun. The haters will call his behavior classless but that’s why they are haters.
