As soon as JuJu Smith-Schuster signed with the Kansas City Chiefs, he received a collaboration invite almost immediately. Within a few hours, Jackson Mahomes had reached out to his brother’s new receiver to join him in making a TikTok video, or videos.
Smith-Schuster, of course, has made headlines over the past few seasons for his dancing. During the 2020 season, prior to games, he would dance on the midfield logo during both home and away games.
After the pregame logo dances started to cause quite a stir, Smith-Schuster put them to rest during the 2021 season. Instead, he turned his focus to locker room and off-field videos.
Meanwhile, Jackson Mahomes, the younger brother of Patrick Mahomes, has caused some serious outrage with his TikToks. Not only are his videos rather cringeworthy, but he straight-up disrespected the late Sean Taylor by dancing on his memorial logo in October.
Needless to say, the idea of Mahomes and Smith-Schuster getting together for a TikTok would be rather divisive and would probably break the internet. Mahomes is all for the idea.
Smith-Schuster is not.
He spoke with NFL Network’s Taylor Bisciotti and addressed the collaboration invitation and made it very clear that it will not be happening.
@taylorbisciotti Will Juju & Jackson Mahomes make tic toks together?
Just a few hours prior to shutting down the idea of working with his quarterback’s little brother, the 25-year-old Chiefs pass-catcher posted his first video in Kansas City.
Smith-Schuster has arrived and is set to be a big part of the Chiefs offense. However, you will not catch him dancing with Jackson Mahomes. It’s not happening.
