Justin Fields is putting in work during the NFL offseason.

For the past few weeks, there has been a debate in the NFL community as to whether or not the Bears should trade Fields and draft Bryce Young.

Some people like former NFL GM Mike Tannenbaum think trading Fields in favor of Young is a good idea.

“Over the next 3 to 5 years, if we were sitting here, I think Bryce Young is going to be the better NFL quarterback than Justin Fields,” Mike Tannenbaum said.

“Taking nothing away from Justin Fields, I think he has a chance to be really special because of what he could do down the field with his accuracy.”

Marcus Spears, on the other hand, thinks trading Fields would be a mistake.

“Justin Fields in the right situation can be an absolute star in this league. He’s just got to be put in that situation. I don’t think you move on from him, I think you build around him and you see what you have.

“And if you think Bryce Young is going to be Patrick Mahomes because everybody likes to bring Patrick Mahomes’ name up every damn single offseason… I say full stop with the nonsense. Let’s find out. What we know is Fields can be dominant in the run game and have the ability to push the ball downfield.”

While Fields is currently in the middle of trade rumors, he’s working on his physique and getting in shape for next season.

In a video that has since gone viral, Fields looks absolutely jacked in off-season workouts.

During a recent interview with Fansided, Fields said that the trade rumors don’t bother him and that he’s going to focus on things that he can control.

“It doesn’t bother me at all,” “Ryan [Poles] actually texted me yesterday and just said he was gonna keep me in the loop with everything … But you know, [I’m just going to] try to focus on the things that I can control.

If I do go somewhere else, my approach towards the game is going to stay the same. How I work, that’s going to stay the same.”
