Kenny Pickett Looked Sick While Steelers Fans Chanted ‘Mason Rudolph’ During Win Vs Bengals

It looks like we have a QB controversy in Pittsburgh.

On Saturday night, Mason Rudolph won the hearts of Steelers fans when he stepped up and threw for 290 yards and two touchdowns to help the team snap a three-game losing streak.

In the fourth quarter of the game, Steelers fans in Acrisure Stadium could be heard loudly chanting Rudolph’s name.

Injured Steelers QB Kenny Pickett did not seem thrilled that fans loved Rudolph’s performance.

Rudolph cherished the moment while speaking to the media.

“I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy it or I didn’t like it. It’s a week-to-week league. I’ve been on the other end of it as I said, so, I try to block it out and play the game. I mean we still had a second-half to play, despite the lead, so you can’t let that enter your mind and let yourself relax for a second. But you know, we’ve got a bunch of passionate fans and what a joy to play in front of them tonight. You know last home game, all my family it town. It was amazing.”

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin was noncommital when asked if Rudolph would start next week if Pickett is ready to play.

It seems like fans have already decided for Tomlin, and Rudolph should be starting after his performance this week.
