The Ole Miss football team found out the kickoff time for its next home conference game this week. The Rebels will host Georgia at 2:30 PM local time on November 9th.
With that time slot being set, it ensured that Ole Miss won’t host a league opponent under the lights in Oxford. Lane Kiffin called the SEC out soon after hearing the news.

The Rebs will play four SEC home games in 2024, two of which still remain on the slate. Those first two matchups came against Kentucky and Oklahoma, and both kicked off at 11 AM local time.
Ole Miss played lackluster in each game, losing to the Wildcats before grinding out a 26-14 win over the Sooners this past weekend.
Kiffin believes the atmosphere played a role.
He blasted the SEC for not allowing Ole Miss a night game opportunity while also hinting at some conference bias.
“I think that’s proven over time in NFL and college [that playing at night is beneficial],” he said in his most recent press conference. “Playing at night in an electric atmosphere is a homefield advantage… LSU gets to play at night again, I guess? Shocker… I feel bad for our fans not having one night conference game.”

LSU will host Alabama in the primetime slot, giving the Tigers their second SEC night game in Baton Rouge in as many tries. The first came against the Rebels, who they beat 29-26 in overtime.
Ole Miss, meanwhile, will go 0-for-4!
Some said that the snub was a product of their own doing after going 2-2 over their last four contests. Had the Rebs taken care of business, they might’ve been awarded that night game.
Then again, the SEC has long been enamored with giving LSU night games in Tiger Stadium as they provide one of college football’s most raucous environments.
Ole Miss wound up on the short end of the stick this SEC season. Lane Kiffin was sure to let the league hear his frustrations!
