Knox Kiffin, the youngest child of Lane Kiffin, still has a few years to decide on where he wants to play college football. However, the Class of 2028 prospect already received his first scholarship opportunity!
Mississippi extended an offer on Monday.
Not the University of Mississippi, where his father is the head coach, but Mississippi College. The Division II Choctaws got in early first on the next Kiffin signal-caller! They got the ball rolling in what is sure to be a high-interest and high-demand process that is set to unfold over the next four years.
Knox, like his dad, is a quarterback. He was in the Magnolia State over the weekend to compete with the Mojo 7-on-7 team in Tupelo on Saturday and turned a lot of heads.
Former Mississippi State wide receiver Cam Floyd, a current coach for the Mojo, had high praise.
I tell you what, I’ve been in this circuit for seven-on-seven for a few years […] I started out with 12U and now I’m with the 14U, and by far, he probably has the best arm I’ve seen in this circuit. We’ve played teams from Louisiana, Texas, Florida […] I’m very, very impressed with his arm strength.

Floyd called the youngest Kiffin “wise beyond his years” and said that he has “impeccable touch” and “threw dots” with a high school ball, even though he is in the eighth grade. Clearly, Mississippi College’s new head coach Mike Kershaw clearly saw enough to offer him now, before Knox even hits high school.
The list of offers is only going to expand over the next four years.
Although he is only 5-foot-10 right now, he is only 13 years old. A growth spurt is coming.
And that does not take away from his ability to throw darts. Knox was dropping dimes at the Showdown Series in Las Vegas last month.
He has a cannon for an arm!
Presely Kiffin, Lane’s youngest daughter, recently committed to play volleyball at USC in a very full-circle moment for the family. Her father hinted at the idea that Knox — who took a recruiting visit to his dad’s former program in November — may also be interested.
There is still a long way to go before that comes to fruition. Knox is likely going to have his pick of the litter when it is all said and done.
In the meantime, he is considered one of the top incoming freshman quarterbacks in the country. Knox Kiffin is going to be really good, and not just because of his last name.
