LeBron James believes his son can achieve everything that he has in his basketball career, and then some. The future Hall of Famer said recently that Bronny is just as athletic as he was at the same age.

That’s saying something considering LeBron was considered a generational talent and has proven as much in the NBA.

The league’s all-time leading scorer, he’s spent two decades playing at the highest level. One of two players to garner GOAT consideration, he’s undoubtedly the greatest player in his era.

While his talents are near-unmatched on the court, he believes Bronny boasts the same abilities.

In a recent social media post, he emphasized his belief in his son, saying that he’s as good, if not better, than LeBron was at that age.

“Exactly!!!” James wrote. “He’s definitely just as, if not right there, at his age. The casuals just like to argue about s— they literally don’t know about.”

Bronny is entering Year 1 in his college career, looking to make an impact in Los Angeles at USC. After experiencing a scary cardiac arrest this past offseason, he hopes to make a speedy recovery.

Regarded as one of the nation’s top high school recruits, he joins a Trojans program that’s made the NCAA Tournament each of the last three years. That includes an Elite Eight appearance in 2021.

Head coach Andy Enfield says Bronny is “doing well” after his preseason scare, though he didn’t offer a detailed update. Hopefully, he can suit up in the coming year.
