On Wednesday, as LaVar, LiAngelo, and LaMelo arrived in Lithuania to begin their stint with the Prienu Vytautas, they were greeted like the Beatles. Media personnel were bunched together like sardines in the baggage claim area of the airport and Lithuanian musician Jurgis Did showed up with a guitar to greet them with a welcome song. There hasn’t been this much chaos since the ascendance of Arvydas Sabonis, former NBA center and Lithuania’s greatest basketball player ever.

The hype over the Ball family landing in Lithuania has leaked into the welcome press conference, evident in a 19-year-old female member of the media shooting her shot with the 19-year-old LiAngelo.

Her name is Evelina Pavliukovic of LNK’s KK2. Look at her, grinning from ear to ear.

Pavliukovic admitted to liking LiAngelo, invited him out on a date and then asked if he has a girlfriend.

“I just came here to play,” LiAngelo responded. When pressed further, he said: “no comment.”

As recent as November, LiAngelo was linked to his high school sweetheart Isabella “Izzy” Morris, but who knows how a move to rural Europe has changed that dynamic. She happens to be attractive.

The Balls are scheduled to make their debut next week, although it’s unclear how much playing time they’ll receive. Buckle up!

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
