Are you ready for some football? How about some simulated football? Alright then, EA Sports has you covered with their annual Madden Super Bowl prediction.

They are pretty good at it too. Madden has correctly picked the winner nearly a dozen times and had a near perfect prediction for Super Bowl XLIX, correctly calling the final score of Patriots 28, Seahawks 24.

However, last year Madden NFL 21 predicted the final score of the Super Bowl to be Chiefs 37, Buccaneers 27. Whoops.

Over the past 10 Super Bowls, Madden has correctly picked the winner five times, so there is a slight margin of error with their predictions.

Madden predicts Super Bowl XLIX will come down to the wire

That being said, here’s who Madden NFL 22 says is going to win Super Bowl LVI, how it’s going to happen, and who will win the game’s MVP Award, based on their use of NFL Next Gen Stats player data.

In the prediction, the Bengals enter halftime down 14-7, following touchdowns by Rams running back Sony Michel and red-hot wide receiver Cooper Kupp, with Ja’Marr Chase putting up the Bengals only touchdown.

At the start of the second half, the Bengals lock up on defense with cornerback Eli Apple picking off Matthew Stafford and taking it to the house to tie the game.

Joe Burrow takes the lead early in the fourth quarter on a touchdown pass to Tee Higgins, but Los Angeles answers with an Odell Beckham Jr. touchdown to level the game.

In the final minutes, Burrow gets his team in field goal range creating another opportunity for Evan McPherson to step up and kick the winning field goal to secure a historic victory for the Bengals franchise.

Final score: Cincinnati Bengals 24, Los Angeles Rams 21.

Super Bowl MVP: Joe Burrow, making him the first quarterback to ever win a Heisman, a College Football National Championship and a Super Bowl.

In real life, the Rams currently sit at 4.5 point favorites so it would be a big upset if Cincy can take home their very first Lombardi trophy on February 13th.
