After five long years, Conor McGregor is finally set to make his return to the octagon at UFC 329 when he squares off in the main event against Max Holloway.

But is Holloway, who is making his debut at welterweight after previous runs at featherweight and lightweight, coming in at less than 100 percent?

That’s what some fans are speculating after a video appeared to show the Hawaiian superstar limping during his entrance to Friday night’s ceremonial weigh-ins.

Max Holloway Is The Betting Favorite Against Conor McGrgeor At UFC 329

Despite the fact that McGregor had the most bets and total money wagered on him of any fighter at UFC 329 at Bet MGM, according to reporter Ben Fawkes, Holloway is still the substantial favorite in the fight.

In total, 85 percent of the bets placed have been on McGregor, and 73 percent of the total money wagered has been on McGregor to win.

Despite that fact, he’s listed as a +190 underdog at the time of writing, and Holloway is a substantial -225 favorite.

But how would a potential injury to Holloway change that dynamic?

In the time since McGregor last fought, Holloway has stepped into the octagon eight times, with a 5-3 record, including wins over reigning UFC lightweight champion Justin Gaethje as well as Dustin Poirier, whom McGregor is 0-2 against.

However, Holloway is known for his constant pace and footwork. If he’s hampered by some sort of lower-body injury, that could prove a big issue against the larger, more powerful McGregor.

Then again, it’s entirely possible that Holloway was just walking with a weird gait and there’s nothing to worry about.

Ultimately, we’ll all find out when they step inside the cage on Saturday. But if you’re thinking about betting on the fight, a potential Holloway injury is definitely something to consider beforehand.
